Uganda: Scream for change as Museveni is sworn in
As Museveni was sweared-in as new President of Uganda, thousands of pro-Besigye supporters on May 12 gathered in the capital Kampala to welcome back home ‘their’ President Dr. Kizza Besigye. The celebrations turned ugly when army and police fired teargas and life bullets to disperse the crowd. Lees verder

Uganda is het eerste land in Afrika onder de Sahara waar een revolutie a la Egypte op handen is. De walk-to-work demonstraties worden met bruut geweld bestreden door de overheid, burgers worden steeds bozer. Tot nu toe zijn er zeven doden en honderden gewonden gevallen. Artikel in de Pers!
